 Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) was very proud to be a part of Indonesia Association of Lesson Study (ALSI) in organizing the 12th International Conference on Lesson Study (ICLS). The 12th International Conference on Lesson Study (ICLS) was held on 9th to 11th September 2021.
The theme of the conference was ‘Reinventing learning engagement through Lesson Study and Learning Community Practices in Pandemic Disruption and New Normal.’ The event was attended by several hundred practitioners and leaders from across Indonesia where it is clear that online lesson studies are developing rapidly.
Three of our Council members, Dr. Sumar Hendayana, the ALSI President; Prof. Manabu Sato PhD of Gakushuin University and Associate Prof. Fang Yan Ping, PhD of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and WALS President Associate Prof. Pete Dudley all presented keynote speeches at the conference and several prominent WALS members presented papers during plenary sessions.
