IJLLS Update

IJLLS appears to be recovering from a year of Covid-19. As our publisher, Sanna Zahoor, noted in response to the latest Journal Performance Report, ‘it is promising to see download figures are growing and higher than they were at this point last year’. In April, 2021, at over 1,800 for the month, downloads had almost doubled. WALS remains our no. 1 customer, and the US author count is rising.

Our 2020 Special Issue, Perspectives of Professional Development in Special Didactics with Guest Editor, Mona Holmqvist, was well-received, and our bumper 2021 Special Issue, Digital technologies, online learning, and lesson and learning study with Guest Editors Rongjin Huang, Nina Helgevold, Jean Lang, is attracting similar attention.

We are delighted to welcome a new member, Dr. Francisco J. Garcia Garcia, University of Jaén, to our international Editorial Board. Indeed, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our editorial team - Co-editors, Associate Editor, Editorial Board and our Editorial Assistant, Dr. Shirley Tan - for their unswerving support for the journal. And to all our reviewers, our sincere thanks. We could not do this without you!

Professor Keith Wood: Editor in Chief
