WALS Webinar: Digital Technologies, Online Learning and Lesson and Learning study

Over 100 participants from 25 countries worldwide signed up for the WALS webinar focussing on digital technologies, online learning and lesson and learning studies.

Participants were able to watch pre-recorded presentations from teams representing America, Norway, the UK, Malta, Australia and China and then had the opportunity to ask questions in two live Q and A sessions which allowed members to access at a convenient time.

There were some very wide-ranging questions covering for, example, the challenges of collecting research data online, the benefits and challenges of online LS and the IT skills that teachers need to take an active part. There was also consideration of features of online LS which were likely to continue even after the pandemic is over. If you missed the event, you can still access the presentations by logging into WALS website here.

WALS would like to thank all the presenters for their work in recording very interesting and engaging presentations and taking part in the Q and A sessions which were not always at sociable hours worldwide!
